"Great stay and staff"
Sophie Suites at first glance looks a bit dated, but we were pleasantly surprised to see our room. All of the rooms contain a one bedroom suite that have either a one king sized bed or two queens in the bedroom. The suite comes with a full sized kitchen with pots and pans, which is a huge plus as eating out in Fairbanks is expensive. Each suite has two flat screen Samsung TVs, so you don't have to fight with the kids about what channel to watch. The hotel has a restaurant, but to be honest, I didn't find the menu to be appealing or that kid friendly. Nonetheless, our stay here was excellent and would highly recommend. They also have laundry facilities on site and you can wash/dry your clothes for two dollars a load.

"Great place to satisfy sushi craving. "
I came for lunch. I ordered a bento box and my daughter had chicken teriyaki. The chicken was very tender and plentiful. The sushi rolls were fresh and tasty and bigger than expected They also start you off with edamame, shrimp tempura/asparagus salad, and miso soup on the house.

The food was fantastic, staff was friendly and quick, and everything was great. They even send you off with a cream puff for dessert. I would come here again when I have a craving for Japanese food.
