"Fun, low-stress, educational"

The Farm is a great half-day destination. You'll see typical farm animals, such as chickens, pigs, horses, and many others. It is not a "petting zoo" but they do have pony rides (additional fee and offered seasonally). Besides viewing animals, there are hands-on activities for the kids.

The Farm has a water pump that is super fun for little ones to play with--if you're going in summer, you might want to bring a change of clothes or just plan to let them dry off before getting back in the car. There is also a playground. Restroom facilities are well-maintained.

We have gone many times without paying for the optional pony rides, and have still found many fun things to do. However, the pony rides are handled very well, in my opinion, and even children who have no experience on horses do well.

Admission is very reasonable.

"fun small farm for kids"

My kids and I have enjoyed going to this small little farm several times.  Animals include chickens, roosters, cows, ponies, horses, pigs, ducks, goats, and sheep.  There is a small gift store where they sell seed for 25 cents a scoop to feed the goats and sheep.  This is a stroller friendly farm and included a small playground.  In warm months, pony rides are offered for a small fee and in the fall they sell pumpkins too. For $2.50 each, it's a great choice for a morning outdoors.
