Celebrate the Harvest of the Strawberry with great food, contests, shopping and exhibits with kids’ entertainment always On Mothers Day Weekend. Local farmers harvest extra strawberries just for us. These are certified organic and local from Placer County and some bordering counties such as Sacramento, El Dorado, Yuba, Santa Cruz and Sutter Counties. We will also pre-sell Strawberries at wholesale prices to the vendors of the festival to insure all Festival Strawberries are local grown. All Strawberries are sold by the Farmers themselves.
Strawberry Beer Garden, Festival Awards for best Vendor, best Hot Rod, Plant Contest, Shortcake Eating Contest, Miss Strawberry Pageant and Raffle Drawings. Strawberry Costume Parade, all are welcome. Petting Zoo and Pony Rides, Kids Fun Zone and Strawberry Go Round (tilt a whirl.)

Live Bands, Magicians, Comedians, and Performances. In 2011 the Roseville Boy Scouts provided a hearty breakfast of hot pancakes, sizzling sausage, steaming coffee, fresh orange juice and wholesome milk for $8. The $8.00 breakfast ticket included free admission to all the day long fun of the Strawberry Festival. Breakfast served from 8:00 a.m. til 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 7th and Sunday, May 8th.
Fun Fact:  If you laid all of the pancakes cooked by the Boy Scouts at the last Strawberry Festival side by side they would almost encircle the Fairgrounds.

"Best Time I’ve ever had in Roseville, CA"

I may never forget the day I spent at the Roseville Strawberry Festival. Originally I thought the Strawberry Festival would be something fun to do with my mom and my son for Mother’s Day 2011 but it turned out to be so much more. I had a blast and will return on Mother’s Day weekend 2012. In fact, I’m counting the days.

Here are some of the highlights

• The Roseville Fairgrounds are easy to reach
• Parking was easy to find
• Tickets are affordable
• Lots of fresh strawberries and strawberry related treats
plus pizza, corn dogs, funnel cakes (think state fair food)
• The petting zoo was AMAZING with a wide variety of
gentle animals and plenty of walking around room for
kids, their parents, and the animals
• Bounce houses, inflatable slides, strawberry tilt a whirl
• Little Miss Strawberry pageant! After the pageant the
“cute as a button” contestants walked around the festival so
everyone could soak in their adorable faces and outfits.

There is nothing I would change about The Roseville Strawberry Festival. My whole family had a wonderful Mother’s Day here.
