Playgrounds, beach, walking trail, views!
Every year on a day with low tide, my kids' school sends the kindergarten classes over to explore the tidepools at Lincoln Park. This year was my first visit to the park. It's huge and has a bit of everything! There are two separate parking areas. The larger one is a bit more of a walk to the beach. We didn't have time to play on the playground, but other schools did and the kids looked like they were having a blast.
The beach is really large, but is a rock beach, not a sand beach. There's quite a bit of seaweed, so it can be a bit slippery. We had fun looking for creatures under the rocks and found many!
The views of the water are beautiful as well, so when we weren't looking for creatures, we had fun sitting on logs and enjoying the views. It was a fun park to visit!
i like this park because it has QFC near here and all the other clothing stores like urban outfitters and stuff but the restroom here is a no go . just use the bushes instead . i have been in these restrooms and ewwww people do drugs in here i could see beer bottles on the ground and also needles !! yikes i guess i just dislike public bathrooms ??
Lots to do
We really enjoyed walking through Lincoln Park. The park was very well maintained and had great walking trails. There were some great playgrounds and a nice wading area. A great place to go and have a picnic. It was very busy, but not over crowded and we had a really great afternoon there.
