Sometimes we go to Lee Farms for our pumpkins. They have the usual kids/family pumpkin patch activities and it's a really fun place to visit in the fall.
What we really love them for is their Christmas trees! We really like that we can pick out our tree and then someone will come chop it down for us and take it to get shaken and wrapped so that's it's ready to go when we are. They have fresh doughnuts and cider and a little gift shop to browse in. What's not to love about a nice family farm that so convenient!?!
As a 43 year old male, family farms aren't on my top ten list. I mean its great for the kids, but now that mine are to old (teenagers...) to hang out with their lame dad, what does a farm have for me?
Let me just say, if Lee Farms was a woman, and i was twenty years younger I would merry that farm/woman in a heart beat. They've got amazing doughnuts, pies, and apple cider. I think the best part is the service. Its family owned, and has been since 1869!!!! And if thats not enough there's this young guy that works there named Mitch that is so funny. I almost passed out laughing at his wit. Pumpkins, Trees, Pies, and Humor, That's my kinda place.
