Amazing animals. Amazing family fun!

We visited Jungle Island on a Monday where we didn't encounter any lines, waits or crowds.  It was such an enjoyable experience for my children.  When we arrived, my children, ages 8-10 months, were delighted to see the colorful parrots in the lush landscape.  They thought they had been transported to a real jungle and could not wait to go inside the gate.

At first when you arrive you have the chance to have park pictures taken with alligators, snakes and of course, parrots!  They staff was great with the kids to o.

We entered the park and immediately began exploring the exhibits of all the animals.  We talked about where these animals came from and really had a chance to enjoy the peacefulness of the jungle and all the sounds and sights.

We took in two shows, Dr. Wasabi's Wild Adventures and Winged Wonders.  Both captivated even my littlest traveler.

The park keeper talks were very cool because the kids got what seemed like a backstage pass to the animals.  Asking questions and learning more about the animals themselves.

There were VIP tours available, a park and picnic area to play in too.  We only had a day to explore but I am convinced we would be annual pass holders if we lived closer!  Until next time to explore more!
