Alpine Slide is a Winner
We truly enjoyed the Breckenridge Fun Park, especially the alpine slide where you control your speed and sled. My boys 8, 12, 14 and 40ish enjoyed racing down the slide. Be careful though, the slides can tip and my husband had a nasty road rash from his dip - of course that's also why the kids liked it so much too. If you want speed, make sure the folks in front of you are far ahead. The sleds can get backed up. The gold coaster is really fun as well, but you are on a track, so it's not quite as self-controlled. My youngest loved the maze. Not sure if that's because of the attraction or because there was a prize at the end depending on how fast you completed it.
Tickets to the Breckenridge Fun Park can be purchased individually per attraction or as a full day fun pass. The literature is a bit confusing on ticket prices, as there are other activities available on the mountain. The full day Breckenridge Fun Park pass includes pony rides, super bungee trampoline, the Mineshaft Maze, bounce house, mini golf, scenic chairlift, gemstone panning, rock wall, Gold Runner Coaster and Alpine SuperSlide. For those too little to participate, there is a childcare and nursery available. There are also guided hikes, 4×4 tours and bike haul up the mountain for an additional fee.
The only reason I give this three stars is because of price. It's very expensive at $72 for an adult and $38 for kids. You can do individual tickets, but you'll want to go more than once on everything so in my mind single tickets aren't worth it. However, the resort does do specials if you stay on property and that can make it more reasonable, so check the resort website for the latest deals.
