"River fun"

What a great time we had here. We spent the night in a cabin and the next day rented canoes. The crystal clear water was beautiful!!! We stopped half way down on a sandbar and had a picnic lunch and the kids played in the river. It is perfect for the kids because the water is not to deep. You can even camp overnight on the river on the many choices of sandbars and bbq and have a campfire. This is on our list for next summer.

"Fun with the Family"

The town of Milton is the self-proclaimed Canoe Capital of Florida. Adventures Unlimited, an eighty-eight-acre privately owned park, launches canoeing, kayaking, rafting, paddleboating, and tubing expeditions into the spring-fed wilderness streams of Coldwater, Blackwater, Sweetwater, and Juniper Creeks. It also provides cabins and campsites.

"Tweens and teens will love this adventure!"

Adventures Unlimited offers visitors the unique opportunity to canoe, kayak, tube, and camp all at one location.  They offer a number of packages ranging from just a few hours to several days, with primitive camping available at numerous beachheads along the Coldwater or Blackwater Rivers.  Cabins are also available for those looking to enjoy the outdoors without the primitive setting.   Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy casting for large mouth bass, bream, pike, and catfish in designated areas along the Coldwater Creek.  For the truly adventurous, a ropes course is available with both low and high challenges.  Special rates are available for groups as well.  Camping is great for the whole family, but I would recommend keeping the toddlers at home if you are tubing.  Although the water is shallow and calm for most of the trip, you will end up with your toddler in your lap!  If you do bring the little ones, remember that children under 8 must wear a life jacket at all times.  Also, Coldwater lives up to its name…most of the season it is very chilly…brrr!  Remember that it can get VERY crowded in the summertime.
