Review of the Bebe Au Lait Nursing Cover

by: SLOfamilylife

Luxurious. Soft. Fashionable.

You can imagine my surprise when I opened the Bebe au Lait Nursing Cover Package and found a stylish soft green and blue paisley designed nursing cover waiting for me!   No more frumpy covers or fighting trying to hold a blanket in place while I'm nursing my baby.  This cover is so easy to use.  Just slip it over your head and adjust the strap and d-ring so it comfortably fits (you only have to do this once) and that's it!  Once on, the unique banding holds the cover out at the top allowing only me a peek at my nursing daughter.    The terry cloth pockets at the bottom left corner is a great place to stash a binky or breast pads while nursing or for wiping up the occasional drool!

Not only is this product stylish, but it's also versatile!   Just recently, my family and I vacationed at an upscale Palm Desert Resort and I couldn't have traveled without it!  For the drive, I threw it over the car seat as a sunshade, then used it as a blanket outside.  It was so comfortable and stylish that I wasn't embarrassed to feed my daughter in restaurants, poolside, at the park, anywhere!  I can lay it out on the grass for my little one to play on, then drape it over us as I nurse.  It was easy to wash and folds up so compactly, that I can carry it in my purse or diaper bag.   It's one of those items every mom needs!

The only concern I would have would be for a plus sized woman.  I'm currently a size 14 and it covers up my sides while I'm nursing, but just barely.  I would be so embarrassed  if I was nursing and had my leftover baby belly hanging out for all to see.  In the future I would hope that Bebe au Lait would offer an even larger version for plus size women.

Overall, I love this cover.  It's beautifully designed to be stylish and functional, a must have for mom's.  I would recommend it for any mom and am going to be sure my mommy friends have one for themselves!
