I have fallen in love all over again, this time with a booster seat! My family and I have logged many hours behind the wheel of our vehicles, our kiddos strapped snugly into their car seats. We are pros at car games like the "Bug Spotting" or "Alphabet" games. With all of our driving, I have NEVER taken a road trip with children and didn’t hear complaints about sore legs, being uncomfortable, or wanting to be out of the car…until now! My 4 year old received the phenomenal Clek Oobr Booster seat just in time for his 4th birthday and our cross country road trip!

Pro's:
Con's:
Although there are many different, kid-friendly shades for the Oobr Booster Seat, we chose Paul Frank's “Faux-Hawk Julien” (a bright red fabric with colorful striping on the sides and a monkey with a faux-hawk hairdo) for our own little spunky monkey. What drew us to this particular seat was in fact it’s clever design, but what sold us on it, was it’s safety system. The Elemental Safety System is comprised of 5 different elements that help protect your child in any type of collision. The magnesium frame in the backrest and headrest provides secure structure, the large headrest has deep side wings which allows for not only comfort, but safety in side collisions as well. The LATCH system locks the booster seat in it's place giving it added security, the belt guide improves the seat belt position on your child, and finally, there is a layer of energy absorbing foam which results in less force transfered to the child in a collision.
My four year old loves his new seat and has fallen asleep against the deep headrests many times. Whenever he wakes up from naps in the car, he is now happy and doesn't complain of sore neck muscles! We have even driven through the night a few times and he didn't complain then either- a definite test to how comfortable this seat actually is. Maybe someday they'll make one for mom's!
Disclosure: I received a complimentary Booster Seat from Clek so that I could review the product. I received no other compensation or requests that I state any particular opinion. All opinions, as always, are my own.
