Ski vacation - how to get child care?
Our family is thinking of heading up to Lake Tahoe with the kids and we'd like to get at least one or two days of skiing together as a couple. But we have a 5 year old and a 2 year old with us. What kind of childcare arrangements do you guys recommend? I want the kids to have fun while we are having fun, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg like we did last time at Heavenly ($150 per child for the day).
Ha! I was going to suggest kids ski programs, but they do cost a lot.
The best, cheapest way? Go with other families so that you can take turns skiing! Also, there are some great deals on vacation rentals. :)
