my wife is pregnant... will she be able to really enjoy the waterpark?
I am also pregnant and was told by my doctor that swimming is fine (and actually very good exercise), but to stay away from water slides and water skiing. Not sure exactly what kind of waterpark you are planning to go to, but water slides are off limits for pregnant women as far as I know.
Nope. . . none of the ride attendants will let her on any of the water slides, so all she'll really be able to do is float in the lazy river or sit in the wave pool. I'd just go to a regular swimming pool, and save the water park for after the baby is born.
I would say, Yes! I fully enjoyed visiting water parks as a pregnant mommy because I loved watching my kids enjoy going down the slides rather than sit at home in my hot house. I did not visit this particular park however, but the small water park near our home had plenty of places for a pregnant mom to sit and soak in the cool water, whether in the kid play area or the wave pool. I just found ways to enjoy the day and had a lot of fun in seeing others enjoy it too.
