Has anyone seen the Slim Goodbody show?

Wow! I wish I had read this sooner because the show was actually in my area today and I missed it! I remember watching the television show when I was younger and I thought it was great. Slim is older these days, but I bet he still puts on a good performance. The tickets for my area were only $6.50 for an hour long performance. I would definitely have taken my kids for that price. If you don't go see the live show, it looks like there are some old episodes available on youtube. You could also check with your local PBS station, because the show is still being broadcasted in some areas.

Wow! I haven't thought about Slim Goodbody in about 25+ years! Thanks for that blast to the past. Mostly I remember the bodysuit- that's the image I'm getting, and I may not be able to get it out of my head!
I'd love to see Slim-I can't believe he's still doing his thing...
What else did you find in your mother in law's stash from the past?
I bet there's some good stuff in the book pile- you've got to have Good Night Moon and Dr. Seuss!

I haven't seen that show in forever, but I loved it when I was 2-3 years old! I can't believe it's still out there. Now I'm going to have to go looking for it.

We're living in Hawaii, so we're currently not on his schedule and there's no where near us that we could drive to see him. Based on what you said, now I even more so want my kids to see his show.

I called the number on his website and Mr. Slim Goodbody himself called me back. We've been slowly working on getting him to Hawaii, but I was a little nervous that his show wasn't as good as his songs. For all you Hawaii people, if I can get Slim Goodbody out here I hope that you'll bring your kids to the show. His songs are a lot of fun.

As far as my mil's stash... she's got some classic disney books. The one my kids enjoy the most, though, is called "There's a hippopotamus in my bath" Sorry, I'm not sure who the author is. It's really cute and the illustrations are great. If you happen across it, I'd recommend taking the time to look through it. They've also got some excellent LPs with kids songs.
