Coronado Island at Christmas time

It can be very nice, it is a little hit or miss in the weather however, if you stay at the hotel or just hang out around it you will find a lot of festivities going on. They have a christmas play, dozens of decorated trees, Ice Skating along the beach, and a victorian christmas tee. We had a great time at the tea a couple years back and there were plenty of kids there also. Good Luck!!

Thank you ebickford. Instead of Cororado, we've decided to stay on the harbor across the water. That way, we'll be closer to everything, inc. Coronado. And we've planned an afternoon and an evening there, probably dinner too. I'm glad to hear of the festivities. That looks gorgeous.

BEAUTIFUL at Christmas time!!! Downtown Coronado & the Hotel Del are gorgeous! Yes, you can probably let them run around on the beach with jackets. There is a large public park in Coronado. they also have a holiday parade. The Hotel Del has Skating by the Sea, an outdoor ice skating rink next to the ocean.
