Spotlight Thursdays
Welcome to Spotlight Thursdays! It's Trekaroo’s way of spotlighting the best family travel ideas and local daytrips directly from the fantastic bloggers who help make Trekaroo possible. It is also a great opportunity to expose your blog to new readers who might otherwise be missing out on the wonderfulness that is you!
How does it work?
- On Thursday you post about a family friendly location that you have visited or hope to visit. It can be a day trip or a grand vacation destination. The sky is the limit!
- In your post, please link back here to our "Spotlight Thursday" post so that your readers can find more great destinations that are in the spotlight.
- In the "Your URL" section: Enter a link to your actual post (not the front page of your blog) in the "Mr. Linky" form at the bottom of our post.
- In the "Your Name" section: Enter a quick description of your post followed by the name of your blog in parenthesis. Example: Tidepooling in Newport Beach (Double the Adventure). Be descriptive and specific, this is what will entice people to check your link out!
You will be able to see everyone's submissions as links as they are entered.
Do I need to be a travel blogger?
Not at all! But it does need to be a family friendly activity.
How Do I link to you?
You can find answers to these questions in the "help" section of your blogging software
When I enter my link on Mr. Linky, I notice that it says "delete link" next to my name. What do I do?
If you click on "delete link" it will let you delete what you just posted. Nobody else can see the button, just you.
When do "Spotlight Thursdays" begin?
Posts will go out no later than 12:01 noon PST each Thursday
We reserve the right to delete any links that aren't family friendly.
