"Water Country is a hit!"

My husband and I visited Water Country the past two years in August as my birthday treat! It is spectacular and I will continue to spend my birthdays there! This past year, I intended to gauge each pool and slide to see how appropriate it would be to bring my two year old. Surprisingly, there are many suitable options for her, including a large play zone designated just for toddlers! How exciting it was to see this! The lines are never tremendously long, and the rides are phenomenal! Great family fun!

"A GREAT WATERPARK!!"

My whole family loved this waterpark in Williamsburg. It actually made me feel just like a kid again!  The park is spaced out, with decent park food.  The ticket is a little expensive, but with the many rides, it does seem worth it.  We loved the bright colors, and all of the tube rides are not so scary and perfect for the kids!  I couldn't bring myself to go on the high slides, but people seemed to love them also.  We stayed a t a hotel close to the park and wanted to go back for a 2nd day.  What a great family place to vacation!

"Water Country USA is so FUN!"

Growing up my family always lived in the Hampton Roads area and we would visit Water Country often over the summer.  Now as a married adult with two children (8 and 5) we have season passes and LOVE the water park.  My kids love all the rides and love the wave pool...we can spend all day there!  The food is on the expensive side (what park isn't?) so we bring our lunch and eat in the parking lot.  Also, we don't rent a locker anymore because we find that if you can put your beach bag and towels on a chair no one with bother with them and it saves money.

"Water Country USA"

This is the best water park in the country.  Just about all of the ride can be ridden by the entire family.  It is so much fun and great exercise because of hiking up the stairs to each of the rides.  You don't realize you have done all of the walking though because it is so much fun.  Hubba Hubba highway is the greatest lazy river.  You will never want to get off of this one.

"Very good time."

This was our very first visit for my family I took my daughter here last year for her 3rd birthday and she had a blasts. We mainly stayed in the water park and the waves were just right not too rough. The park was clean, No lines to get in the park.

"A waterfall of good clean fun!"

I am not much of a "ride person", so my trips to amusement parks are kind of a waste of money.  But both my whole family and I LOVED Water Country!  The Hubba Hubba Highway is terrific fun.  You get a life vest and float along a lazy river -- just you and the vest, no tube.  They have water forced out along the way so it makes you propel along at a relaxing rate. So cool!

I also loved Meltdown -- the family tube.  It holds 3 people I believe and you all go down the big waterslide together in one tube.  I went down 3 times laughing like a kid -- and like I said I am not a ride person!

There are plenty of slides for more daring kiddos and their families, as well as cute play areas for the younger set.  When my older son and daughter (8 and 10) wanted to ride some of the bigger slides with my husband, my little guy (4) and I headed over to the smaller slides, pools and water squirters.  I had just as much fun with him.  It's such a cool place to spend a summer day. It makes other water parks look wimpy in comparison.  We have CamelBeach Waterpark near us in the PA Poconos and this is so much better.  There are plenty of vests to assure safety and plenty of appropriate ride choices for all ages that you can't go wrong with a visit here.  I think it was my favorite part of our trip to Williamsburg.  The park will take you all day to enjoy, but you'll come away with a day of fun and memories that'll last much longer.

"water country"

We love love water country, my one year old hasn't been yet but our four year old has been several times, i'll take our youngest when she's old enough to understand simply directions like sit still and hold on tight she doesn't get that yet. they do provide lifevests, it's a good day trip and much better than busch gardens which is just too much stimulation and walking and not enough entertainment for younger kids.

"Fun with the Family"

Something else not to miss in Williamsburg, especially when the Old Dominion’s afternoons get particularly steamy, is Water Country USA, a forty-acre water park with rides, slides, pools, and shows with a 1950s–1960s surfer atmosphere.
The largest attraction, Hubba Hubba Highway, covers three and a half acres and takes you through a lagoon to a winding quick-current course down a river of exploding geysers. Partner up with your older kids and slither through the Malibu Pipeline, a slippery chute with a partially enclosed tube that re-creates the thrills of Hawaii’s Oahu and Banzai surfing pipelines. Aquazoid ups the thrills of a water slide by adding a dark section with laser light flashes and eerie howls plus three “water curtains” that douse riders. The whole family can climb onto a giant inner tube and experience a river-rafting race through a 670-foot series of twists and turns on Big Daddy Falls. Cow-a-Bunga, a children’s play area, features a 4,500-square-foot heated pool, plus water slides, fountains, and water cannons.
Kid’s Kingdom, for younger children, offers kid-size water slides and play equipment as well as a dry play area and Minnow Matinee, an outdoor theater.
