"Grab a latte and relax while the kids play"

The town of Homer is a bustling destination for summer tourists, both from Alaska and the rest of the US and beyond.  The best place in town to take the kids for a little down time pre-or-post-fishing or exploring is definitely Two Sisters Bakery.  Kids will love that they have standard favorites like bagels and cinnamon rolls, and parents will appreciate the grown-up savory pastries and delectable scones.  For a special treat, there are also filled cupcakes and huge cookies.  After ordering at the counter, settle in with your coffee outside in the play yard, stocked with trucks and hula hoops, and enjoy the surrounding mountains and float plane fly-bys.  Two Sisters also serves up sandwiches and soups, and is even open for dinner on the weekends, but the choices are very much more adult than kid-friendly.  Afterwards, be sure to walk to the end of the road to Bishop's Beach to enjoy the views and tide pooling.
