"A Nice Night in the Village "

Among the many things that I liked about Tavern 6330' is that this would be a great place to dine either on a date night or with the whole family.  Stylish yet comfortable and casual, the staff was attentive and the mood relaxing yet noisy enough that your kids won't be the loudest presence in the room.

As far as the eats go, my family recommends that yours go with the following items:

- The Surf and Turf Pasta:  Assorted seafood and beef chorizo over fettuccine noodles.  Delicious!
- My husband went with the Spicy BBQ Pork Spare Ribs - Applewood smoked ribs, house tamarind BBQ sauce.

The kids menu features all of the standard favorites among the under 12 set --- cheeseburger, chicken tenders, buttered noodles and flatbread.  As a mom, I really appreciated that all offered the option to order fruit as a side dish rather than fries.

While my youngest went for the linguine with butter,  my oldest has found most kids menu are well, too young for her and has taken to selecting from the grown up menu.  On this evening she deemed the Tavern Burger the way to go but upon its delivery to the table she pitched the arugula, tomato and anything else healthy that accompanied it! Sigh!

Leave room because you do not want to miss the desserts at this place.  In fact, I recommend that patrons fast before coming here so they have room for both dinner and dessert!

We shared the S'more Pie --- Graham cracker crust with a brownie filling topped with toasted marshmallow fluff and accompanied by vanilla ice cream (HEAVENLY!!) and the  Carrot Cake Ice Cream Sandwich -
House-made carrot cake, vanilla icecream, butter toffee sauce, Chantilly
cream, candied pecans. HOLY COW!! FANTASTIC!  We had to take a nice long walk around the village afterwards to work off some of that decadence.

Adjacent to the Gondola, I'm pretty sure this place hosts a nice sized apres ski crowd around its patio fire pits.  We will definitely be back to check it out as there was a lot more to enjoy here!

Disclosure: Thanks to Northstar at Tahoe for hosting my family. Although my family received complimentary lodging, dining, and activities, my reviews are always my own opinions and are not influenced by staff or its affiliates.
