"Fun family treat place"

I went to Soda Rush during the soft opening with my 6 year old daughter. It was small, quaint, and a fun place!

My daughter had a Big Foot drink and I ordered an Aloha drink. They had specialty drinks with premixed flavors or you could pretty much piece together any combination of flavors or even add ice cream to it. I thought the sodas were pretty inexpensive. We tried some ginormous cookies, which had fun flavors and were pretty good, the cotton candy which was fun for my 6 year old, but not too flavorful, and we bought an ice cream with sprinkles of course! This was their first day of business, so I can only expect it to get better! We actually didn't finish our drinks and kept them in the fridge, and I thought they tasted better the next day. They even have a tiny 50 cents kiddie cone. Something for everybody. There is even a drive through.

I thought the cashiers and servers were very happy and nice and if we had a problem they fixed it happily. The owners were there and were very honest and seemed really nice. Highly recommend and for all ages!

Disclosure: I was hosted by SodaRush for the soft opening and was given free drinks and cookies. I received no other compensation and the opinions expressed are completely my own.

"Cute place for a cool treat"

Soda shops are the new fad here in Phoenix’s east valley. This location is the first one I’ve tried and I can see why they are so popular. They serve fun, non-alcoholic drinks the whole family can enjoy. SodaRush is a great place to drive through for some quick refreshment or hang out inside while dining on giant cookies.

I visited during the soft opening of this store with my 5-year-old son. He loved his “Big Foot”-a combination of root beer, vanilla cream, and s’mores flavor. My “Squeeze Me” (orange crush, strawberry puree, and half & half) just tasted like regular orange crush to me. Perhaps the orange is too strong of a flavor. We tried one of each of the cookies and all were huge and delicious. My favorite was the Mmm Monster, a peanut butter M&M cookie. We also had some pina colada cotton candy. It didn’t have too much pina colada flavor but still was fun.

The décor was very sparse but I assume they will add more over time. There isn’t a lot of seating but there is enough space to hang out with a few friends or family. The staff was super friendly. The store is family owned. The owner’s daughter was greeting customers was they walked in the door and making sure everyone had everything they needed. The service was very quick. Our drinks were ready soon after placing our order at the counter. Prices are low-drinks range from $1-$2 and treats aren’t much more.

I would recommend SodaRush to families looking for a quick treat or unique drink.
