Sapporo's menu includes a variety of premium sushi and Teppanyaki as well as classic and contemporary Asian specialties, such as Grilled Black Cod glazed in Miso, delicately fried Tempura, and even a spicy version of Hawaiian poki.
My kids love a good teppanyaki experience! They have enjoyed this style of cooking many times and in many places --- California, Hawaii, and now Arizona! I tell you this to bolster my point that they know what they are talking about! And they loved Sapporo!! They had good reason to love it too.
It's stylish and sleek. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and personable. We had an entertaining experience at the table where we were seated. The Teppanyaki chef was a show man as well. He was so much fun!
Each teppanyaki meal at Sapporo is accompanied by a shrimp starter, mushroom soup, house salad, fried rice, fresh seasonal vegetables and house-made sorbet.
My family highly recommends you go with a combo selection. This way you get to try more than one item. I went with the Shrimp and Calamari Steak!
NOTE: If you can get away for a date night, this is one of those places that would make for a nice romantic dinner too!
