We can always count on Ruby's to offer yummy food and kid-friendly dining. Our first evening in Palm Springs, we were hungry and walking through downtown and as soon as we saw Ruby's our eyes lit up and we knew we would have a good dinner.
We were seated outside and enjoyed the comfortable evening and watched tourists and locals as they walked down the street. Our kids enjoyed the kids menus that were creatively designed to be "spy documents" with puzzles and riddles to decipher while waiting for their kids meals. It was tough for them to decide between carrots with dip and apple slices, but either way we were happy with the good choices (along with their Kraft Mac n Cheese).
The service was friendly although not super speedy. The space heaters were turned on when we requested and we were comfortable and well taken care of.
A special note about this Ruby's: there is a wall display of the Palm Springs Aerial Tram with little tram cars riding the tiny cables up the mountain. We were planning on going up the tram the next day so we loved looking at this display.
