My family of 7 (kids ages 9 years down to 10 months) visited Pointe in Tyme for breakfast on a Friday during our stay at Tapatio Cliffs resort. We all have different views on what breakfast should be, but the buffet here had something to please everyone.
We all chose the breakfast buffet (just under $16 for adults, $9 for kids) and there were options we all loved. My husband enjoyed the huge variety of fresh fruit and I loved the build-your-own yogurt parfaits with greek yogurt and lots of choices of topping options. My oldest daughter loves breakfast desserts and ate waffles and donuts. My 6-year-old recently discovered he loves breakfast burritos and was ecstatic that they were offered in the breakfast buffet. Even my picky 5-year-old was pleased to find breakfast cereal was an option. The buffet also offered made-to-order omelets and included drinks. We all enjoyed eating our favorites as well as trying new foods. There is also a breakfast menu (and children’s menu) you can order from if you don’t want so many options. Adult prices range from $5 to $15 & kids meals are just under $6.
The buffet area was kept neat by a dedicated attendant. At our table, we were waited on by a friendly server who kept our drinks full and cleared our plates quickly. The kids were given paper kids menus and crayons to keep them occupied. The atmosphere was nice but casual. Having kids there didn’t seem out of place but I would have been uncomfortable if they had been rowdy.
Bottomline: Pointe in Tyme has delicious breakfast food and is a great options for families staying at Tapatio Cliffs Resort. I would recommend this restaurant to families who love a good breakfast.
Disclosure: My family and I were treated to breakfast by Pointe in Tyme, but the opinions expressed are entirely my own.
