"Invite a Teddy Bear to dinner"

We go to Pat's often in the summer time on the way home from CT shoreline activities. It is very conveniently located at the intersection of interstate 95 and CT route 9. The decor is decidedly kitsch, but the kids love it. There is a pretty well rounded kids menu and the servings are large. We always have take home. Additionally there are a myriad of LARGE stuffed bears and other animals around the restaurant. We usually bring one or 2 over to our table to "share" our meal. Pat herself is usually there. We continue to return there because of the location and the selection, but also because of Pat. When my son was 3 he began his love affair with Huskies. There happened to be a large stuffed Husky situated at the restaurant. He knew he had to give it back when we completed our meal. She saw how in love with it he had become and let him take it home with him. He carried it around for quite some time. Needless to say the restaurant is child friendly, portions are large, there are some seafood specialties and it is very convenient. The food is rib-sticking, but not gourmet. There is also a large dessert menu.
