"Very Small but Effective!"

We are a very health conscious family.  Organic, gluten free, dye free, frangrance free, etc.  This market fits all our criteria of what I look for in groceries, beauty items and prepared food items!  It is small but effective.  This is the closest thing to a Wholefoods market you will get in this neck of the woods.  We usually spend a few days in Tahoe several times a year.  I try to bring everything that I will need, but if I do forget something or want a treat this is where I head to.  It is very expensive!  At least a couple more dollars than Wholefoods and Wholefoods is expensive.  That being said because you wont find the items they carry in the markets in Tahoe City I am willing to pay a little more for what I believe in!  The prepared food is so yummy!  From sandwiches to desserts it's all yummy!  They have a soap and lotion bar that is wonderful and actually very reasonably priced. The people that work there are very earthy, friendly,  and helpful. My family make a stop here at least once every trip!
