"Lots of Characters"

Although the food is typical buffet food there's enough options to be satisfied, Goofy's Kitchen food was better and equal # of characters but isn't in the park.  Minnie's is great for seeing the "classic" characters.  I suggest either getting an early reservation to access the park before rope drop, or going later in the morning about 45 minutes before close.  That allows you to take advantage of the lower crowd at rope drop and then have a late breakfast/brunch.  We were there until breakfast closed and on the way out all the characters lined up together for a group picture with us!  Couldn't have gotten that anywhere else.

"homestyle food"

The food is pretty good--fried chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies.  Character dining is always amazing.  The kids get to spend plenty of time with each character that is out.  The characters will sign autographs and take pictures with you.  The staff is very helpful and will take pictures of you whole group for you.  A little pricey--but worth it  :}

"Best Food and Fun for the $"

This is the best location for a character interaction. I like this one much better than the Goofy Kitchen, the food is so much better and the characters come around much quicker. You should make a reservation as walk ins are a risk.

They have giant waffles, eggs, omlets, potatoes, etc...all the best breakfast choices. Next time I definately book this one for my little one's next birthday!

"Fun, but expensive"

This is great fun for the little ones and big fans alike.  Imagine chowing down on great high quality food while being bombarded by characters of your child hood like Mickey and Minnie.
If you can afford the extra money, this is a great one to do.  Make sure to bring your autograph book and camera as well.  Lifelong memories can be made at this experience.
My budget tip for this is that sometimes if you book through Costco or a travel agency you can sometimes get this for free.  Watch for the travel specials and enjoy this great opportunity for free.

"Amazing morning character breakfast"

The Character breakfast at Disneyland at the Plaza Inn is the best there is.  Your child will dine with characters stopping by like Peter Pan, Minnie Mouse, Donald, Fairy Godmother etc.  Its a myriad of lots of different characters and they will make it to every table.  The buffet food is good with mickey waffles, eggs, etc.  Its worth the money but make sure you call ahead for reservations and bring an autograph book and camera.
