We ate at Mammy's for lunch while on a trip to Bardstown, and I would definitely choose to eat here again should we ever be back! The food was fantastic. My husband and I both got burgers and I actually liked his better. It was a bourbon burger with french-fried onion straws and a sweet bourbon sauce. It was to die for. The portions were fairly large, especially considering how reasonably priced the cafe is. We also ordered fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were cooked to perfection and came with a fabulous dipping sauce. The waitresses were friendly, and although it was a little slow due to the busy lunchtime hour, it wasn't unreasonably slow. We ordered their homemade pie for dessert, yum! The kids' menu had quite a few options, and our son loved his chicken and fruit. We loved reading the creation story of Mammy's as well. It is printed on the menus and was quite the tale.
We were provided with complimentary meals for the purpose of this review. All opinions were my own.
