Dining at Lutes Casino with my family of 7 (kids ages 10, 7, 5, 3, and 1) was a fun experience. The atmosphere was perfect for rambunctious families and we all loved our food.
The menu here has hot dogs, hamburgers and sandwiches as well as some Mexican favorites (all with unique twists). I ordered the potato tacos and thought they were delicious. My husband really enjoyed his Lutes Especial, a cheeseburger/hot dog combination. There isn’t a kid menu but they do offer kid’s meals. Ask your server for the kid’s meal choices, but they are typical kids fare. My boys liked their corn dogs and chicken strips. The prices are very reasonable, too-average entree around $6.
The atmosphere here is a little crazy, but in a way that is fun for families. Although the name suggests it, there is no casino here. The walls are loaded with random decor, including a foot coming out of the ceiling. The kids loved just wandering the restaurant checking out the unique items around them. Do be warned-there are some naked pictures on the walls and my kids definitely noticed some of them (mostly butts but a few topless ladies too). There are pool tables and a couple arcade games near the back. My boys loved playing the pinball machine (another warning, it is a Playboy pinball machine).
The service was great. Even though they don’t have kid’s menus they still brought crayons and placemats for the kids to color on. Our food came quickly and our server was attentive.
This is a fun place to eat while visiting Yuma. As long as you don’t mind your kids seeing some lady’s bare bum sitting on a stool while you eat (the boys thought this picture was hilarious), I would recommend this restaurant to families.
