At Joe’s Farm Grill, we focus on common food done uncommonly well and served quickly. Common foods such as burgers, fries, pizza, salads, and ribs are common for a good reason: people love them. They taste great! We have taken these common foods to the next level.
When we have friends or family come to visit, this is always a place we take them. It is local to Gilbert and fun to read about the history of it while waiting in line. They have a breakfast menu as well as a lunch/dinner menu. Since they have to change the whole kitchen around in order to stop serving breakfast and start serving lunch, they do a "hard transition" where they actually close down the kitchen for a few minutes and stop taking breakfast orders, and then re-open for lunch/dinner. This happens around 11 o'clock and can cause the line to get backed up a little more than normal (there is usually a line anyway!) I would recommend steering clear of that time if you don't want to be waiting for longer than necessary. And if you are hoping for breakfast, plan to be there before 11! I've never had anything that I haven't loved, and especially recommend the sweet potato fries. Since you have the option to sit outside or inside, you can go anytime despite the weather. We love to sit outside when the weather is nice and kids love it too! The only annoyance with sitting outside is sometimes the flies are out of control, depending on the time of year. Overall, you can't go wrong with this yummy option!
Joe's Farm Grill is an American food restaurant on a real working farm (crops not animals). Some of the food they serve is grown right there. The food is perfect for kids (hot dog, hamburgers, pizza). My 9-year-old daughter particularly likes their pancakes at breakfast. Kids meals are about $5.50 and include a drink. Adult meals are about $10-15. I recommend trying their delicious fried zucchini. If the weather is nice, it's great to sit outside at the picnic tables and let the kids run around the lawn. This place is really popular so if you go right around lunchtime, expect a line. They do move the line through pretty quickly, but it can be hard to wait with kids.
If you go on your birthday and show your ID or birth certificate, Joe's will give you a $10 credit towards your meal.
