"Wonderful"

This beats out any other Hard Rock - don't care where it is.  It is a staple and if you can't have a good time here, I don't know what's wrong with you!  :)
Kids would enjoy this too, although maybe not APPRECIATE it as much as an adult.  Food is standard fair - burgers, fries, and the like.  Come here for the experience though, not just the food!  I would definitely recommend visiting the Hard Rock Cafe.  Why not??!

"It's a Hard Rock"

Seems like if you've been to one Hard Rock Cafe you've been to them all!  I guess it's nice to get a souvenier shirt.  This is better for tweens and teens as I think they are more into the Hard Rock idea.  Not the best one I've ever been too, but maybe you will like it.

"Yummy Food, Awesome Decorations"

The kids absolutely love every aspect of this restaurant, yes it's not the biggest place & it can get crowded very quick...we usually have a wair of 10 minutes or so but hey-the kids love it so of course it's worth it! There's guitars & everything Rock & Roll decorating the entire restaurant-the food's delicious too so we try to stop by everytime we hit up the city!

"hard rock cafe"

This hard rock cafe it pretty much the same as all of the other ones.  They are all setup kind of the same.  It is pretty nice food and lots of neat stuff to look at.  I have also been to the one in orlando and the one in orlando is a little bit better than this one.

"Crowded "

but cool to see all the hollywood displays and whatnot. Food was ok. Service was good. In a great location b/c its in Times Square area. Near lots of shops too. Great menu but pricey. The downstairs area was closed when we went there but we snuck down anyway and checked it out.

"TINY"

This Hard Rock is small of course compared to others. It's still worth seeing and collecting the good ol' tshirt from. The food is the same as all the others and the prices are not as jacked up as one would think. With so many other restaurants in NY I am surprised at myself for going here though. If you travel all that way, don't eat there, take in the local cuisine. It's so exotic. As with all Hard Rock Cafe's, unless you have a child into the music scene (and we are not talking pop here), then I would skip it.

"Rock and Roll with a side of chicken fingers"

We presented my son with a few options for dinner to choose from on his "big night" into the city.  He chose the Hard Rock Cafe because he had never been to one before.

When you enter off of Times Square you first come into the shop.  Here you can find collectable pins, T shirts and other mementos.  Take the steps down to enter the cafe area.

We were greeted by a friendly hostess who took our name and directed us to the waiting area.  This area felt like a lounge and surpassed any other Hard Rock I have ever been too.  You could browse around and discover all of the amazing memorablia that takes you on a tour of the world of rock.  Off the lobby area there is a small spot dedicated to John Lennon.

The wait was not too long and my son loved keeping an eye on the Play List.  This is where all the waiting parties are listed in 2 colums:  Up next and Now playing.  When your parites name moves into the Now Playing column you will first pose for a commemorative photo and then seated in the restaurant area.  (they brought the photo to our table to view while waiting for our meal and there was NO pressure to purchase).

Our waitress was perky, helpful and very attentive.  We really enjoyed her and I honestly can't remember when I've received such good service.  She made menu recommendations and answered our questions then offered to make slight changes to how the dish was prepared to meet our tastes.  The kitchen is apparently extremely accomodating to it's guests.  The kids menu had standard kid fare and my son eagerly ordered his usual chicken fingers.   The kids menu came in a multi page booklet with lots of activites to keep them busy while waiting for the meal.  We also played a "name that tune" of sorts with the wonderful array of music that plays.

When the food came out, all 3 of us in our party were happy.  It was beautifully presented and the food was delicious.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.  These chain restaurants are frequently over rated and surrounded by a lot of hype but not a lot of delivery.
