Located right off of the lobby at the Grand Canyon Lodge is the Grand Canyon Dining Room. When I first peeked in, I was a bit intimidated to take kids into a sit down restaurant complete with white tablecloths- but as I looked around I saw that most tables were filled with families. And as I looked over the menu, I found that the prices were actually very reasonable, and our lunch at the Grand Canyon dining room cost us about the same as it would have cost us to get lunch next door at the Deli in the Pines.
The kids menu offered many healthy and well-rounded choices including a fish sandwich, pasta, and chicken. My husband and I shared a cheeseburger, and it was delicious. But nothing surpassed the view from the wall of windows lining one side of the dining room- and looking out of the Grand Canyon while you enjoy a nice lunch with your family was just perfection!
