"Great way to start off our Disney vacation!"

We made reservations here for dinner the first night we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel.  It was very convenient, located right inside the main tower of the hotel.  It was bustling all night long, so I do recommend making the reservations so the kids don't get cranky waiting for the table.  Also, buy an autograph book ahead of time!  We didn't have time to go to the shops beforehand, and although they had autograph books available at the front register, they were all the generic one and they didn't have the fancy princess ones.

The first thing you do is take a photo with Goofy, which they are supposed to bring to your table to show you, but they never did for us.  Too bad because we would probably have bought it since it was one of the few photos we had of all of us!

We learned early on (while meeting Goofy at the beginning) that, unfortunately, our 22 month old was afraid of costumed characters. Ooops!  Make sure you know whether your kids will be okay with the big Goofy and Chip and Dale characters approaching them.  It was perfect for my 4 year old, but my husband spent dinner taking the little one out of the restaurant every time he got scared by the characters.

A LOT of characters come by, which was great.  My girl got autographs and photos with them, and she had a blast.

The food was pretty good, especially for the kids, and they had a pretty good selection to pick and choose from.  Desserts were especially tasty.  It is expensive, but I do think it's worth it for the experience.

"A must!!"

I was a little unsure about booking a meal at Goofy's Kitchen because of the price but since it was my son's birthday I though we would give it a try.  It was well worth every penny.  We had a fabulous time and say SO many of the characters.  We will definately go again next time we go to Disneyland.

"Goofy and His Gang"

I have gone to Goofy's Kitchen since I was a little girl with my family.  I love the atmosphere with the animals, however, the major downfall is the excruciating wait time!  I can handle the wait as well as my husband of course but my kids get so restless it puts a damper on our night.  We still enjoyed the food, not loved but enjoyed and would still go back if not only for the atmosphere!  There is a movie room that the children could be in but it was crowded and stuffy.  Any aged children would enjoy this place but I would say for the price ages 12 and under would get the biggest kick out of it.

"if you're on the fence go for it"

If you’re debating whether or not to spend the extra money to go to Goof’s kitchen… I say do it! The buffet selection is right up any kids alley…and there was plenty for the grown ups too. Even though we went to Disney after…this was still one of the highlights. It was a great time to be able to sit down with the kids and enjoy their company before the craziness of Disney began.  It also helped to build the excitement before actually going to the park.
Again…it’s not cheap…but it was worth every penny for us. The characters were of course wonderful and the kids got their own special time with them…which they may not get in the park.

"the best!"

This is by far the best way to see characters and enjoy a fabulous meal at the same time.  We have had breakfast there--very good!  Pricey, but you are getting more than food--it's the whole experience.  This whole area surrounding Goofy's Kitchen offers lots to see and do.  The staff and characters exceed all expectations.

"I would go again!"

I loved Goofy's Kitchen. You get to meet all the characters while you're eating. They just come up to you. It's very fun. The food is all you can eat and it is pretty good. Kids will LOVE the mac N cheese and Mickey Mouse chicken nuggets. The entire place was very clean and there are a lot of employees avilable if you need anything. I would stay here again!

"A blast"

This is blast for people of all ages. The breakfast is a little more costly that your average breakfast, but the food is well worth it. During your entire meal Disney characters are in the dining room interacting with the guest. Disney put a lot of thought into creating a fun dining experience for families.

"Birthday Fun"

We took my daughter for her 4-year birthday, and she loved it!!!  I think it's a bit pricey, but for special occasions like this - it's totally worth it. The Disney characters and princesses come around frequently. They gave special attention to the birthday girl. The buffet included a great delicious and creative variety! They also have entertainment with the characters- I think every half hour or so. A GREAT EXPERIENCE for children!

"Fun But Crazy!"

We went here for my niece's first birthday, this was soooo crazy! The food was great and the kids all got the see the characters but for how many people they housed I was surprised at how little the buffet was. You had to sit around to make sure you got the full circle of characters but eventually they would make it to you. If you can't handle kids going wild don't eat here...go to the carnation cafe in D-Land.

Tip: If you want something similar to this but a little better food go the MInnie's Breakfast Buffet in the park.

"Great Family Moments to Share"

Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel is a great place to eat but a little on the pricy side.  If you can afford it, it is well worth the money for the memories.  Make sure to bring your camera and autograph book for the characters you might see.  Food is of a high quality and is very appealing for all ages.  Mickey shaped items are also available to consume.
Budget tip: Check out special add-ons that some travel companies may give such as free entrance for this restaurant.  Also if you are a member of various groups you may be eligible for a discount.

"Goofy's Kitchen"

A must-do if you have small children. Located inside the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA. Fun, interactive dining experience for families. Reservations are a must! Pricey, but worth it if you have little ones, they'll love it. An all-you-can-eat buffet including peanut butter and jelly pizza, Mickey Mouse waffles and more. Lots of healthy options too if you are a dieting parent. Omelet bar, etc. Plenty of opportunities to take photos with your favorite Disney Characters. They come around to every table and spend a moment to pose for pictures with your kids. Every 30 minutes or so they have a fun activity, like gathering kids for an impromptu, interactive music jam with Goofy. Kids are given small musical instruments and encouraged to play along with the Disney characters in the middle of the restaurant.
