Casual eatery with margaritas serving Mexican dishes ranging from tacos to carne asada.
This place is everything that is fun, festive and spirited about the Mexican culture. The decor is colorful, the music makes you want to dance, the staff is friendly and the food is great!
Here's what my family recommends you order:
- Chicken Fajita Salad: Hubby went for this dish. It is chicken strips marinated and grilled with onions, bell peppers, served on a bed of spring lettuce and he devoured every bit!
- Aguachile: This dish was my choice! It is shrimp cooked in blended jalapeno lime juice served with slices of fresh jalapeno peppers, white onion, cucumbers, avocado and tomatoes. It is also not for the faint of heart, it is spicy! A pricey dish compared to others on the menu, I felt it was totally worth it. It could be shared between two eaters with tinier appetites, I didn't finish it all in one sitting. The leftovers were still delicious the next day.
A LARGE KIDS MENU
I thought the kids menu here had a lot more choices than other Mexican restaurants I've visited. Check this out these options:
2 chicken Taquito Rancheros
Bean and Cheese Burrito
Hamburger w/ fries
Chicken Fingers w/ fries
The only thing I found odd was that a drink didn't come with the meal but was listed as an extra item instead. I'm willing to think of it as a business model necessity though in order to keep the menu varied.
Bottom line: My family would definitely eat here again! Oh and one last note, their claim to have the best margaritas in the area is totally true!
