"Great location"
The fact that this is right on Hollywood Blvd, next to the El Capitan Theater scores big points. It's pretty much Disney - big scale, bright lights, etc. Don't expect an old-time soda fountain...more of a soda fountain on steroids.
Parking is tricky, so don't make this a stand-alone destination. Rather, make it part of your trip to the Walk of Fame, Mann's Chinese Theater, etc.
Lots of fun desserts & treats, as well as a gift shop.

"Best Stop with Kids in Hollywood"
I was so surprised as I walked past the El Capitan theatre to find this little Malt Shop with Disney Logo's on it. I stopped my husband and we ventured in to find a retro malt shoppe decked out in Disney fashion! The food was pretty good but the dessert was amazing!
This place was so much fun to find! I recommend parking at the undergound parking across the street at the mall.
