Located just off the 101 at Tatum and Deer Valley, this Sweet Tomatoes has an upscale and urban flair. The design is minimalist with earthy green walls and cork board signs - almost like being in a super chic warehouse.
If you're unfamiliar with Souplantation/Sweet Tomatoes, it's an all-you-can-eat soup and salad buffet style chain of restaurants. Headquartered in San Diego, the company has 112 restaurants in 15 states.
For approximately $10-$12, you have access to an extensive salad bar, a variety of house-made soups, a baked potato bar, pasta dishes, pizza, bakery items, even frozen yogurt with a topping station!
Because you can pick and choose from LOTS of different food items, this is a great place for kids. They can have "a little bit of this and a little bit of that" on their plates...and go back for more!
The restaurant is also baby-friendly with highchairs and lots of fresh veggies, noodles, and soups that are soft enough for a new eater.
We've been to a number of Sweet Tomatoes locations and this one was one of the cleanest and friendliest we have experienced. A fantastic pick for hungry families!
