I had heard good things about this restaurant, and we happened to be in the area, so we decided to check it out. This place had great food, but truly a ‘hole-in-the-wall’ little restaurant! The inside was VERY dark, like it was previously a small bar. There was just a strip of tables along one side (kitchen & bar seating on the other side) and it was very narrow inside, with no outside seating. I saw some high chairs in the back but I honestly don’t know where you could squeeze one in, without tripping every single person who walks by. We ended up taking our pasties to go & eating at a nearby park. The pasties themselves were REALLY good- like gourmet Hot Pockets or calzones, in about 30 flavors, plus a few dessert flavors (i.e. shephard’s pie, salmon, Mexican spiced ‘carne adovado’, portabella & chicken, veggie, pesto, caramel apple, etc, to name just a few) for about $8-$9. I'd say 4 stars for the food, but just 1 star for the (lack of) family friendly-ness. Worth the visit for the food, but skip this place if you want a sit-down meal inside with your little kids.
