"Makes Me Want to Eat Like a Bear"
I love this place! Well, the one in Hanford that is. Other Black Bear's we've tried aren't always as successful. The cooks, maybe? My husband and I eat here all the time. The food is great and in large portions. Customer service is awesome. And there is never a long wait.

If you are traveling with or without kids from L.A. to Yosemite and want to stop half way for a bite a eat, I would recommend the Black Bear Diner. Black Bear Diner is a cute family dining experience, providing excellent food and value, served in a fun, uniquely bear theme atmosphere. Lots of comfort food! Loved that they offer a "smaller portions" menu for smaller adult appetites and seniors. Great to have the option of ordering adult menu items in lesser sized portions without it being kid menu fare. They do have a kids menu (Cubs menu). Worth a trip for the food and all the cute bear decor. Make sure to sit in the bear theme cubby hole booth!
