We have eaten at a few different restaurants in Sedona now and I think the Barking Frog is my new favorite. As with most places, the restaurants on the main tourist drag usually aren't that great because they don't have to try hard to get customers to come inside. The Barking frog is about 1.5 miles down the road from the main tourist hub of Sedona, just across from the Airport Road on Highway 89A. The cuisine is American and Mexican. The atmosphere is southwestern with a nice fountain inside. The servers were cheerful and attentive.
They have a kids menu and items come with a drink. My son ordered a corn dog with fruit and my daughter had chicken fingers with rice but there were items such as chicken tacos, hamburgers, and pasta on the there as well. My husband ordered a Sonoran Caesar salad with chicken and I ordered the shredded beef soft tacos. We were all extremely happy with our choices. The soft tacos were miniature and I believe there were four on my plate but I couldn't finish the entire thing. They were so flavorful and juicy and I want some more right now! They were served with rice and beans.
Bottom line: I would definitely eat hear again. I found the prices to be reasonable (adult lunch for about $7-$13), the service to be great, and the food was very good.
