"Always changing, always fun"

This is a great restaurant at the top of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, close to lots of little fun shops and several great toy stores!  If you come at peak meal time, you will probably have a wait, and that can be a pain with kids in tow.  But other than that, it's perfect. According to their website they do accept reservations over the phone- I've never tried that, but it's worth a try if you're planning on checking it out!
The fun thing about 5 Spot is that the menu changes every few months to feature foods from different regions or cities. Right now they are featuring a menu inspired by St. Louis. I've been many times over the last three years, and the food has consistently been really delicious. You get huge servings for the price, so it's a great place to go with the family and get several things to share, so you can all taste lots of different foods.
They also have a part of the menu that doesn't change. I'd say it's pretty much American diner type food.  Also very yummy.
The 5 Spot is always humming with activity, so no one will notice if your child is being a little loud. That makes a great restaurant, in my opinion. The servers are friendly and helpful.
If you're in the area, stop by and check this restaurant out!
