With 277 miles of canyon, the Grand Canyon truly lives up to its name. Families enjoy this natural wonder on a variety of levels depending on their level of adventure. From scenic drives to white-water rafting trips, there's something that will suit each member of the family. The National Park Service also offers a Junior Ranger program for kids ages 4 and up. There's even a special badge that's given to kids who hike or mule-pack it down the canyon called the Phantom Rattler Junior Ranger.
