West Tennessee is home to Memphis, the city of Rock n Roll. Many of the state's most famous celebrities lived in Memphis including Elvis Presley, Tine Turner, Davy Crockett and more. It's also the location of the National Civil Rights Museum where MLK was assassinated and the the Peabody Hotel where the ducks march twice a day.
Be sure to get some real Memphis-style ribs and check the festival schedule to see if you can catch any of the annual fun celebrating strawberries, waterfowl, archaeology and of course music.
