Finger Lakes

Slender strands of sapphire water sparkle amid pastoral farmlands and craggy gorges, a glacier’s good-bye caress during the last couple of ice ages. The Haudenosaunee believed the lakes were formed when the Great Spirit reached down to bless the land, leaving behind two handprints.
