Washington DC is fun for any family. There's a great mix of outdoor fun as well as all the educational venues that immerses any child in a live social studies or history class. The hardest part is figuring out what to see because the list is endless. It's best to find out what each of your kid's are interested in seeing and making time for some outdoor or non-museum fun like a park or hotel pool. That'll give the kids time to digest all that they've seen and just be kids for a bit.   Driving around the city is confusing with all of their turn-abouts and parking can get pricey.
