Acadia National Park

Acadia National Park is home to Cadillac Mountain, the tallest mountain on the US Atlantic coast. Families love visiting to hike the granite peaks, explore the various tidepools along Maine's coastline, and biking. There are a variety of programs that are designed just for kids at Acadia.   From mid-May through mid-October, kids of all ages can take part in the Junior Ranger Program to learn more about Acadia National Park. Complete fun activities like drawing a favorite animal or scavenger hunt bingo, participate in ranger-led programs, and take the junior ranger pledge to earn a signed certificate and an embroidered patch.
