Bahia Honda State Park
Key Biscayne,
Florida
This was an area we stopped at while on our way to Key West because we heard such great things about it. It is a beautiful place but I would recommend going there for camping for a day and night. Not somewhere to just visit for a few hours to get its full effect.

Mallory Pier
Mallory Pier,
Key West,
Florida
This is a place I would not take the kids in the evening. There are a lot of people that come out to do "tricks" in order to get tips. There is a nice restaurant on a dock where you could watch the sun go down on while enjoying pretty good food.

The Southernmost Point
South St. and Whitehead St.,
Key West,
Florida 33040
We had to go to this place twice to get a decent picture of our family next to the "sign". Each time it was very crowded and there were long lines...just for a picture. It is all worth it though to be able to say you've been to the Southernmost Point.

Okaloosa Island Park / Pier
1030 Miracle Strip Pkwy,
Fort Walton Beach,
Florida
The Okaloosa Island is a great place that holds a few great restaurants and even a piano bar. There's a place for ice cream and a playground that is right on the beach. Great place for all ages. Best part being the white sand beach!

South Beach
701 Brickell Avenue, Suite 2700,
Miami,
Florida 33131
I would not recommend taking the kids if you were to spend the evening here. There are lots of restaurants and clubs that just aren't appropriate for kids. The beach is ok. I'd rather have the white sands of NW FL. This is more of a "party" beach.
