We could spend a weeks worth of vacation in this place. From the time you walk in the front door, you are instantly amazed. Wonderworks is not only a blast for the kids, but it is also educational. There are tons of physics lessons that can be learned while playing.

The Fun Factory alone is worth the trip to Franklin! The have everything you need and a hotel in walking distance. Franklins has the typical arcade games but they also have bowling, go carts, laser tag, mini golf, restaurant, and its indoors. The Fun Factory also allows you to pay and play all day. Great value for the money.

We have always enjoyed Hollywild. It is a favorite field trip and summer trip. It is more interactive than other zoos. However, the past time we went, several of the animal exhibits were empty. Call ahead. When you do go, don't miss the safari ride. There is nothing like hand feeding a buffalo or an emu!

Frankie's Fun Park offers fun for everyone in the family and we never walk away disappointed. The food there is good as well. Depending on the age of your kids, be sure to play laser tag - lots of fun. And if its summer time, everyone will enjoy the go carts.

If this site was for adult destinations, Biltmore would get 5 stars. However, the trip is long, and to most kids, boring. The best part of the trip for the kids was the farmyard. There was a great amount of farm animals for the kids to see and chickens to play with. It might be good to pack additional activities for the kids on this trip.
