Whalers Village Mall and Museum

"High end"
The Whalers Village Mall is right on the beach! I love it. Near MANY resturants, hotels and did I mention the BEACH! This is an outdoor mall so be prepared for afternoon sprinkles! But other than that they had every store I wanted there. We went on our honeymoon and for our one week anniversary my husband got me a Tiffany's bracelet! I love it! This was a great memory!

"Amazing views!"
I loved this part of our trip! What a beautiful view! Next time I want to do the bike ride down the volcano. I loved the park, getting to see the crater, the tour, the dusty crater dirt, and the breath taking views of the amazing ocean! Plan a day trip if your going to do this. Take some snacks, enjoy the view and the landscape.

The Road to Hana | kids travel, kids activities
The Road to Hana
Hana Highway,
Hana,
Hawaii
"Really Windy!"
Hope you don't get car sick! This road is no joke! I've been there twice. The other truck drivers coming down the road are fast and don't give you a lot of room if your driving your self. The scenery is beautiful and the experience is a must.

Once you are there the 7 pools are breath taking! There are a lot of people but if your willing to go to the top the fewer the people you encounter. I recommend finding a place to stay once your out there so you don't have to come back the say day (3 hours out, 3 hours back!).

The second time we went we got all the way out there and it was CLOSED! No signs... No warnings about not driving out there because they were closed! We were so upset! So make sure they are open if there has been any rain or flash flood warnings! Lesson learned!

Costco - Shoreline, WA

"Adventure"
Everything you need and more! This super store has it all. From hygiene products, prescriptions, food, fresh produce, samples!, toiletries, clothes, tools, liquor, fresh meats, seafood, a food court and MUCH MUCH MUCH More!

I have been a Costco member for over 10 years. I recommend becoming an executive member. I can honestly say that with their percentages back I have NEVER paid for my membership every since! I make money by shopping at Costco every year!

Not to forget to mention the gas is the best deal and top quality around. I also love their monthly coupon books, their friendly staff, their helpful and knowledgeable electronics members.

I they have an awesome photo center. I use them for all my prints and even do my Christmas cards with them EVERY year! I am a true raving fan of COSTCO! Did I mention that their Kirkland brand is the Name brand products just under the Kirkland brand so they can sell them cheaper! How great is that. Not just quantity but quality too!

Thank you Costco for changing the way my family shops and eats! :)

Seattle Seahawks | kids travel, kids activities
Seattle Seahawks
800 Occidental Ave S. Ste 100,
Seattle,
Washington
"LOUD"
If you ever doubted that Seattle LOVED their Sea-hawks you must have not been to a game at Qwest stadium. No matter how bad were losing the fans are there! Cheering as loud as they can, dressed in the fullest team spirited clothes you can find! The Seahawks this year have really pulled it off!

They want to win and Seattle is backing them up every step of the way. Many felt they should of never made it to the playoffs but they proved everyone wrong winning against last years Superbowl champs!

Go Seahawks. The food is good. Got to love the garlic fries. Bring something to be autographed. Arrive early and take part in the pre game tailgating. That in and of it self is a major experience.

You wont regret going to the game. If you drink get a small beer because as we recently found out on the news that they are the same size just $1.25 cheaper.

Dont forget to dress up! Come early to get good parking, bring cash so you don't have to pay outrageous atm charges, and make sure you dress warm because there is no retractable cover! If you bring little ones bring ear cover because it is really loud!
