Pike's Peak
Pikes Peak Highway,
Colorado Springs,
Colorado 80901
The top of the mountain is really cold. The drive up had my anxiety spiking. It was all worth the view, totally gorgeous. There are rest areas through out to stop and picnic. But watch how far into those areas you go we had some all to friendly bees attracted to our sandwich's..yeah really weird.

Buell Children's Museum
210 North Sant Fe Avenue,

"Perfect for young families!"
There is plenty to do for kids from dressing up in silly costumes to making crayons. There is also a learning area with computers. Plenty of play areas too. Not to pricey we enjoyed it and took lots of pictures! I would recommend this place for a young family. Sometimes there isn't much to do with the young ones but this place is a good one.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road,
Colorado Springs,
Colorado 80906
We loved this zoo..especially since it has a kick butt military discount in August. It's really big nice and hilly. We've gone 2-3 times. Bring picnic and own water cause it's expensive. Has awesome views of Colorado Springs and a children's area that has a fun mister for cooling off.
