The Glorietta Bay Inn has all the charm of the "Del" and then some. It is located across the street from the famous Hotel Del Coronado but the rooms are a fraction of the price. Plus you don't have to fight the crowds in the lobby. Glorietta Bay is bright and inviting. The staff is very friendly. This hotel has the feeling of a small "Inn". Excellent location, a short walk to the beach and restaurants and shopping. Nice pool. Cookies and lemonade for the kids after a long day at the beach. Complimentary Continental Breakfast is served in the beautiful sun room. Very kid-friendly. If you go to Coronado, you won't be disappointed with this Hotel.

Aquarium is one of the very best and fairly recently re-built. Layout of Zoo and habitats are very lush and natural. It's an old zoo, but kept up very well. It still has a lot of the original charm. Priced right. It's not too big so you can see everything in one day. Small children don't get bored easily at this zoo.
