Sombrero Beach
Sombrero Beach Road,
Marathon,
Florida
This beach is a very nice quiet little spot to enjoy. The swimming areas are clearing designated, restrooms with running water, BBQ areas, and picnic pavilions. its also a nice little beach/park to take a stroll along the beach or even along the paved/shaded walking path.

"Perfect for dolphin lovers"
I have been here a few times with my family. Each time we throughly enjoyed ourselves. There are plenty of shows to see and if you are lucky, you can get a chance to swim with the dolphins. The trick to swim with the dolphins is to arrive as soon as the center opens and reserve you spot for later in the day. I don't believe they take advance swim bookings anymore, so its first come first serve.

Gulfview Waterfront Resort
58743 Overseas Hwy,
Marathon, Florida
We stayed at this resort while attending a wedding in the area. Immediately upon arrival I felt like we were in a mini oasis. Even though it was located directly on the highway we felt like we were in a private little cove. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We traveled with a 9-month old from PA and when we were in need of a high chair and exersaucer. The owner quickly located this essential baby gear for us to use while on our trip. What a life saver!
The pool has a spectacular view. And with the kitchen and BBQ grills for each room, it was so easy to just stay in to grill a fresh catch all while soaking in the best sunset ever.
Can't wait to go back to the Keys, and when we do I will always stay at the Gulfview.

Hawk's Cay Resort and Dolphin Connection
61 Hawk's Cay Boulevard,
Duck Key,
Florida 33050
This resort has it all, plenty of activities for the whole family. Private beaches, dining, clean and spacious rooms, need I say more. The resort is a bit pricey for some, but a great splurge for a big family vacation. There's so much to do, you forget that the rest of the Florida Keys is right there waiting to be seen.

"Paradice without a passport"
Beautiful beaches, relaxing atmosphere, and a quiet little spot. The Florida Keys and middle Keys are my favorite place to get a relaxing atmosphere without getting on a boat or needing a passport.. there's plenty to do, but even relaxing by the water is invigorating.
