This is an okay mall. They have had alot of stores move out like the gap and old navy. They have a nice little play structure for the kids to play donated by 1 of the local hospitals. There play structure is good for kids 5 and under there really isnt things for the older kids to do. Going to the pretzel twister is a must i love their pretzels with pizza sauce and cheese My 2 favorite things are eating at the pretzel twister and going to mrs. fields. You can usually get some good deals at Aeropostale jc penny and kohls here is the website for the mall. It is a fun place to go for a nice bike ride with the whole family. They have designated bike trails and walking trails. They also have nature walks that you can go on and the guides will tell point out important things. if you live in the area they have activites for the kids during school breaks. This is for kids who are 8 and older that way the will enjoy the walks and be able to keep up.

I grew up close to the Childrens museum of IL. It is alot of fun. It is all hands on. they have days when they build things and have themed days. Like being an anchor women and you get to make a fake new broadcast. We also made tornadoes using 2 liter bottles. Its a fun experience and they tell you how you can replicate some of the activites at home. This is fun for kids 3 and up. They have alot of different activites for everybody to enjoy. This is a great mall to go to especially when they have their annual sales. They have great deals especially on kids clothes. You will be doing alot of walking from store to store make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Go when it is warmer out you will be going in and out since it is an outlet mall its not as enjoyable when there is snow on the ground. This is more for teenagers and adults. Its an outlet mall so there is tons of walking around and not much for kids to do.

We went to the hotel and it was a nice hotel. We had a big group with quite a bit of kids. They told us if they got a lot of complaints about the kids then will would have to stay somewhere else. The breakfast was great and kid friendly. I wouldn't recommend going if there are alot of families going with you its not a really child friendly hotel. The best thing about this hotel is when they make the fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. I would rather stay at a hotel that is more laid back.
